Because it is so versatile it can be utilised, regardless of the density of the waste and with any size of container, from 60 litre bins right up to, upon request, 5 m³ refillable containers. Thanks to the option of body sizes ranging from 7 to 30 m³ and a choice of chassis ranging from narrow-track to the large four-axle version, a type can be specified to meet any individual requirement. The VARIOPRESS comes with DIN bin lifter interfaces or with built-in lifters from FAUN. The extremely low rave height, light-weight construction, and the option of manual loading without reconfiguration make built-in lifters from FAUN an excellent investment. The optional light beams at the tailgate of the VARIOPRESS allow a continuous loading mechanism cycle, even with a rave height of less than 1,400 mm. Should the light beam be interrupted by the downward movement of the loading mechanism, the compactor stops. The movement can be restarted at the touch of a button. This allows continuous operation of the loading mechanism, without the risk of a dangerous loading situation occurring.

SIDEPRESS

The one-man operation, direct from the cab, will quickly reap financial benefits, with higher vehicle productivity. The SIDEPRESS provides the driver with an ergonomic workplace. Thanks to the joystick control from the cab he does not come into direct contact with waste materials or bacteria. Instead of heavy physical work, often in close proximity to busy traffic, the SIDEPRESS offers a safe, ergonomic, hygienic workplace that is protected from the elements. With the SIDEPRESS household waste of all types can be collected in containers ranging from 60 to optionally 1,100 litres, and the SIDEPRESS does not hang around. The optionally available ”collection trough” also permits the convenient disposal of refuse sacks. Weighing only 13 t, the SIDEPRESS offers high payload potential.

SIDEPRESS X

Rapid single man operation The SIDEPRESS X is the logical solution, especially for areas of relatively low bin density, that quickly makes financial sense. The SIDEPRESS X can be used to collect household wastes of all types in MGB or DU bins ranging from 60 to 1,100 litres in size. Optionally, four-wheeled bins of up to 1.1 m³ can be presented for collection by hand. And the SIDEPRESS X does not hang around either. Up to 1,100 bins can be emptied per day on a regular basis. Flexible transportation logistics It often makes sense to separate refuse collection and transportation operations. This allows the collection vehicle to stay out on its round, giving it more time to do the job it was designed for, collecting waste. This is a good idea not only when large distances or congested traffic conditions have to be overcome. It often represents an intelligent solution in multi-shift systems, too. The FAUN demountable container systems offers customers a variety of options. On level paved surfaces, containers can be transferred onto trailers or railway trucks without the need for extra equipment. And they can also be emptied straight from the collection vehicle, on completion of its last collection without any additional equipment being required

SWEEPERS

One drive, two brushes, three times the performance It may be small, but it certainly makes up for it! That is an accurate description of the VIAJET 5 from FAUN. This 5 m³ machine does not lag behind its big brother, the VIAJET 6/7, in any aspect of its performance. The compact design makes for simple handling by the operator, and the clearly laid out control console gives the driver unrestricted room. By virtue of its hydrostatic transmission system, it is precisely in difficult sweeping tasks, where slow speeds are needed, that the VIAJET 5 can show its optimal handling qualities. By dispensing with the auxiliary motor, the VIAJET 5 also fully meets the increasing demands for environmental protection and safety, because it produces less exhaust gas and makes less noise as it sweeps. In narrow streets and alleys the VIAJET 5 with its slim dimensions and small tyre size, can sweep nimbly on every route. On completion of the cleaning round, the filled container can be emptied without difficulty thanks to its smooth surface. So however demanding the sweeping task, working with the VIAJET 5 becomes an entirely clean affair.

TERRAJET

For safe take-offs and landings runways, taxiways and aprons must be free from dirt, sand, blowing leaves and large puddles or snow. In this respect the TERRAJET offers safety through cleanliness year in, year out. At the heart of the TERRAJET is its high efficiency exhauster fan driven by a powerful 6-cylinder,170 kW engine. The TERRAJET takes its extraordinarily high sweeping efficiency from the innovative FAUN circulating air system. Entrained dirt particles are bound by fine water particles and then deposited in the container by centrifugal force. Most of the air stream, which is practically dust free, is supplied as blast air back to the sweeping components mounted at the rear of the TERRAJET and the recirculating air cycle recommences. With this system FAUN offers a low-maintenance and environmentally friendly system that does not need special filters, so making the related time and cost of servicing redundant.
