Group Member Datataker Pty Ltd is a member of the UK based Grant Instruments group. Grant is an independent, privately owned company having established leading market positions in temperature controlled laboratory equipment, data logging systems and environmental monitoring solutions for advanced industrial and research applications.
| CANgate CANbus, GPS and data acquisition
The dataTaker CANgate is a CAN to ASCII gateway converting CAN (Controlled Area Network) and GPS data to serial data. It has been designed to capture the real-time data available on CAN and GPS networks (e.g. temperatures, RPM, brake/throttle settings, latitude, longitude, speed etc.) and pass that information on to either a dataTaker data logger or host computer system. |
| DT80G GeoLogger
The dataTaker DT80G is a smart data logger that provides an extensive array of features that allow it to be used across a wide variety of applications. |
| DT85 The Smarter Solution
The DT85 is a robust, stand alone, low power data logger featuring USB memory stick support, 18 bit resolution, extensive communications capabilities and built-in display. The dataTaker DT85’s Dual Channel concept allows up to 32 isolated or 48 common referenced analog inputs to be used in many combinations.

| DT85G For All Geotechnical Projects
Advanced design and technology plus 25 years of geotechnical expertise have produced the dataTaker DT80G GeoLogger - A versatile, powerful – yet low power and cost effective data logger. |
| Environmental Data Acquisition and Monitoring Organisations, whether in the public or private sector, are becoming increasingly aware that the environmental impact of their operations has implications for the environment we all share. Environmental impact can take many different forms including energy usage, waste treatment and disposal, emissions and air borne pollutants, toxins, water quality and salinity, radiated and conducted emissions etc.
Environmental Improvement Programs need to be prepared that identify areas where improvements can be made. The programs require costing and clearly specified expected outcomes from implementation – this could be a combination of environment impact and efficiency improvements in areas such as material and energy usage.
Organisations implementing environmental improvement programs need to monitor their performance. Environmental data acquisition and monitoring using a data logger provide the means to monitor almost every aspect of an organisation’s performance.
Designed and manufactured in Australia the new dataTaker DT80 data logger has been designed specifically for the environmental monitoring project.
